Cutting down on social activities- period - will save you money. When you total up all the spending on outfits, drinks, travel, accomodation for get-togethers and what nots, it's shocking. I do a lot of social stuff on the net now which is cheaper and still lets me keep in touch with my friends.

I have decided that shopping online can cost you money but also save you some. If you actually need the item and you can find it cheaper online (including shipping), going online is so much easier and lazier. I can get cash back through such sites as ebates, not pay for gas and it just shows up a couple days later, makes shopping so much nicer.

Golf isn't even a nice walk with ridiculously expensive equipment... its a nice ride in a golf cart with ridiculously expensive equipment AND the cost of gas...

I'm totally into the pure laziness = saving money. I don't leave my house if I don't have to... lots of free entertainment here. I've also discovered lots of my neighbourhood by wandering around if I need to get out of the house!! FREE = AWESOME!

I'm pretty lazy. I save on make up because I don't put make up on for work, we stay in because we're too lazy to go out on the town, I don't buy jewellery becuase I'm too lazy to change my earrings.

Is it me or are all your comments from women? Here to break the trend. Funny post and good advice. Black and white are not colors? Haha. Lucky you on the new coffee maker. And you're right, laziness can save money. Along the gender-stereotyped things, I suppose laziness (or at least impatience!) saves me money because I hate taking the time for things like haircuts & finding jewelry that coordinates with my clothes. So I just skip the haircuts (or sometimes whip out the scissors) and the jewelry.

Great post. I have never thought that laziness could be a good thing but in this case it is. I think laziness saves us from eating out a lot. We can't be bothered to get dressed up to head out so we just eat at home.

laziness saves me money because it means i'm not going to leave my house to do anything, go anywhere or spend any money unless it's to go somewhere that i've already paid for (like the ymca) or to visit family. . i can't even tell you the weird food combinations i've concocted because i am down to almost nothing in the house and i'm too lazy to go food shopping.

My own laziness has saved me thousands of dollars over time on the cost of a wardrobe. I'm so lazy that when I need to purchase new items, I pretty much buy the exact same outfits again and again, and who cares about matching anything! ;)
